The Cadillac SRX is a luxury crossover SUV that has lived two lives. In its first life, the SRX borrowed its rear-wheel drive from the original CTS sport sedan and boasted options like a third row seat and a V8 engine. In its current life, the 2013 Cadillac SRX rides on a front-wheel-drive platform (related to the Chevy Equinox) is smaller with five seats and a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 308 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque and with fuel economy being a huge factor the 2013 SRX gets 17 MPG in the city and 24 on the highway.
Like all crossovers available at Sid Dillon, the 2013 Cadillac SRX utilize components and construction more often associated with cars then trucks like its 2013 Escalade brand mate. The result is a more comfortable ride and better handling. Here at Sid Dillon we’re big fans of the new Cadillac SRX, especially for those who are partial to America’s foremost luxury brand.
The Cadillac SRX has Four Trim Levels
The 2013 Cadillac SRX is a daringly distinctive luxury crossover that serves up shots of refinement and exhilaration. From its bold exterior design to the subtle elegance of the interior, the new SRX is pure Cadillac. Here at Sid Dillon Cadillac we know one of the most appealing traits of the 2013 SRX is its healthy dosage of standard equipment. There are four available trim levels for the SRX: base, Luxury, Performance, and Premium.
The base model comes with 18” alloy wheels, a power driver seat, 60/40-split-folding and reclining rear seatbacks, dual-zone automatic climate control and an eight-speaker Bose sound system. Higher trim levels tack on almost every conceivable luxury, including: a sunroof, a memory power liftgate, leather upholstery, heated front and rear seats, xenon headlamps and a hard-drive-based navigation system with a back-up camera. The all wheel drive Performance model receives a sport-tuned suspension with continuously variable damping.
2013 Cadillac SRX Safety
Probably even more remarkable to us at Sid Dillon Cadillac is the 2013 Cadillac SRX Safety options including the intuitive technology the 2013 SRX offers like the innovative CUE-Cadillac User Experience driver interface, the convenient available rear-view camera, or the available Bose surround sound and HD radio. The 2013 SRX also joins Cadillac’s XTS and ATS sedans in using the new, vibrating Safety Alert Seat to warn that the car’s sensors have detected an impending dangerous situation.
Overall, with top five-star ratings from the federal government as well as Top Safety Pick status from the IIHS, the SRX is a safety superstar. Whether you want the traditional luxury, or high-tech connectivity or entertainment, the Cadillac SRX has a strong set of features. And for 2013, with the addition of CUE, and a revised set of steering-wheel and instrument-panel controls to match, the SRX offers one of the most advanced interiors on the market. Sid Dillon Cadillac of Fremont, Nebraska, is proud to introduce the 2013 Cadillac SRX to our Cadillac lineup. And be watching for the new 2014 Cadillac models that will be released this summer!
